good stay but needs more attention to detail

The hotel provided gluten-free muffins and bagels, which catered perfectly to my celiac disease. I appreciated the sunny dining room for meals. The convenience of having a supermarket right next to the hotel.

Cleanliness and reception is #1 with us. We definitely would return.

The location near the shopping center, but did come in handy at times.

The staff was helpful, especially Val at the front desk.

Staff were very helpful and friendly.

No elevator - lots of luggage to tote up stairs.

I greatly enjoyed its a nice size and well-equipped rooms.

Also, location was best possible and quiet, relatively near Birdsacre Sanctuary. There were a mall and a market around the hotel. I ate at a great restaurant with an exceptional buffet. The breakfast had a wide range of food, like muffins, breads, cereals and yogurt.

Great staff, very accommodating. Some furniture could use a refresh. Free parking was nice.

Was a bit difficult to get the heater to co-operate but other than that it was excellent.

The kitchenette was perfect for preparing simple meals, but the breakfast options were a bit limited and could use some improvement.

The location was perfect and easy, right by shops and the attraction of bar harbor, in a very nice area. The room was updated and pet-friendly, the bad was nice. The experience was pleasant and I would stay there again.

Very dissapointed pool was not open. The pool facility was why I booked this hotel for my son and his family

And we loved indulging in the freshly-baked cookies in the evenings. Pro tip, visit the grocery store next door for easy meal options!

The beds and linens (pillows particularly) were very uncomfortable. The beds were also about 6" too high and made getting into bed difficult.

The staff was very helpful with maps of the area. She also answered a few questions that I had.
